casa bernardo, caldas da rainha, end 2013, begin 2014
electronic circuit prints.
there are two different editions for this piece. a white dot and a black dot. different paper stock—black dot is heavier but the paper is the same. poster paper from local print factory.
matrix is different in both editions—one is nailed to a wood board and more or less type-high. the other one is free and it isn’t nailed, so the difference in the dots and editions.
above is a 1 bit-flavor scan of the first edition, printed in my heidelberg windmill, which is resting a bit now… nervous breakdown… she’ll be fine.
meanwhile, i did some prints with the unnailed one on a big etch printing press, with some big sheets of paper with several colors of offset ink.
below is a photo from someone (let me say that its cool by the medium.) of the wall made in casa bernardo with help of good friends, printed on an analog hand driven proofpress, borrowed kindly by someone let me say that its cool by the medium.
