this year i went to fmm sines to try out a new print setup. some type, some support to print on, some ink… on the street—on the floor, in stairs on benches.

here are some pictures from an exhibition plus concert some time ago in caldas da rainha, electricidade estética 2013?..

caldas late night is an event held in caldas da rainha, portugal every year around mid-end may. you should visit some day.
its 2/3 days of wide open street and particular rented houses by the students of the financial, marketing corporate arts school whatever, showing whatever. it is really funny.
this was a poster i designed in the 14th edition, 4 years ago, ripped off by time and unknown people. sober, drunk, high, low…
the print factory printed it, i just gave them the digital matrice. probably offset litography.

this was the realest exhibition in a great space — a9)))) with sal nunkachov in the early years of printing and experimenting.
among other pieces from prints to matrices, there are these inside out vinyl record covers, project pointed by sal, and they are just beautiful.
now, imagine the trip in taking these off a heidelberg windmill/tiegel/stella. 1 print per/h.

and here is the poster for the show.

what i have to say about this is that i really love (eventhough emulated) the sound of the old roland tr-808 drum machine. also the tb-303, but this is not the case.

this guy this time grabed some classic breaks and did this.

there is a t-shirt for this situation but not only. you can have one of your own. just email t h r a s h t y p e (at) g m a i l . c o m
